We believe the project’s timeline will be as follows:
– Transfer of the purchased lot to your name – within approximately 4 weeks of signing the purchase agreement and paying the deposit
– Completion of infrastructure development (licensing and construction of water, electricity, and roads) – 1st -2nd quarter 2026
– Start of house construction – possible from 2nd quarter 2026
This timeline is based on realistic projections by our professional team. While we aim to meet these dates, minor delays may occur due to regulatory approvals in Costa Rica.
When Is the Right Time to Join the Project?
That’s entirely up to you. We encourage our clients to join only when they feel a wholehearted “hell yes!” from within.
That said, it’s important to note that current prices reflect pre-sale rates. By January 2026 — when final permits are expected and home construction begins — we anticipate a price increase of approximately 30%.
In other words, today’s prices are roughly 30% below projected market value.
Do I Need to Live in Magenta Full-Time?
Not at all. You’re welcome to join the project and purchase a lot even if you don’t plan to live here full-time. In that case, we recommend building a rental home on your property, as there’s strong demand in our area for both short- and long-term rentals. This allows you to start generating returns on your investment right away. We’ll be happy to guide you through the remote building process and connect you with trusted Airbnb hosts who can manage and market your property for you.

We arrived in Costa Rica in 2004 and have come to know it in a deep, authentic way. It’s home — and we wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else in the world. Over the years, Guy has specialized in the design, permitting, and construction of dozens of real estate projects. He has successfully guided numerous clients through the full development process — and is now applying that same expertise to Magenta. Qori brings extensive experience in both strategic and hands-on project management, with a focus on large-scale initiatives and intentional communities. He served as CEO of the Pachamama eco-village for four years.
